There is a global pandemic spreading and people all over the world are panicking. It is a very serious issue that should be taken into account, and people must make sure they stay inside their homes and only go out for emergencies. This may seem scary to many, but we should realize that once everyone stays inside and does their own precautions, the virus will stop spreading so rapidly. So at this time home, people think that it is torture, to stay inside for weeks. We have stopped talking to each other, stopped going out to eat, out to shop, out to enjoy ourselves. But, at a time like this, we need to take a moment, to be grateful for everything we have had so far. For example, many of us have taken food for granted. Now look at the stores. Workers are tirelessly stocking food back into shelves, for hours. People are shoving each other to pile their carts with as many things they can find. Shelves are starting to become empty. There isn’t enough for everyone to stock up. We are living in a time where people are fighting for food. Just think back to January, when America was not deeply affected by the coronavirus. We had everything we wanted. We could lavishly buy food and go out to eat. Many of us have not realized that we were living in a time of pure luxury. There were other people in the world, who are not as blessed as we are. There are other people in the world, who have no guarantee when their next meal is while we are sitting in restaurants buying $50 meals. And this is only one of the examples I mentioned. We need to be thankful for our doctors, thankful for having a job, thankful for safety of our family, thankful or an education, thankful. Take a moment to be grateful for the things we have. Living in luxury isn’t having a mansion with 5 cars and an indoor pool. Luxury is being fed, having a home, and having clothes to wear. So let's all take a moment during this quarantine, to be thankful. For everything. Everything we have, instead of complaining about being stuck in home. Because at a time like this, we all need to take a deep breath, and relax. Stop our busy schedules and just take a minute, and think of our blessings. Our world can get a bit better this way :)
