Best Disney Movies to Watch During Quarantine by Isha Sajid

Disney movies are the best thing to watch during this quarantine so here some Disney princess movies that I enjoy :)

Tangled: This is my all time favorite movie. 11/10. I’ve watched it obsessively and have memorized everything in the movie. A girl locked up in her tower and has a dream to go out and see the floating lanterns. Everything about the movie is magical and I love it. From her 70 foot-long-hair to the song “I See the Light,” the whole movie is perfect. Also the movie is pretty relatable with what we’re going through right now. 1) She was from the Kingdom of Corona and 2) she’s been quarantined for 16 years in a tower. If you’ve already seen this watch Tangled Ever After, a short movie where Eugene and Rapunzel get married.

Beauty and the beast: The animated version and live action are equally as amazing. Emma Watson plays the role perfectly and the editing and everything is great. The concept of the movie is also interesting. The arrogant prince is stuck as a beast and is handed the magic rose. Years later, Belle’s father goes on trip and she asks for one thing on his journey. A rose. The plot ties together and the idea of loving someone for who they are and not on appearance based is a lesson that is well put out.

Aladdin: I watched the animation once on some day and it was just another random movie that I watched while I was bored. But in May 2019 the live action was released and I became obsessed with it. The special effects and the main characters and the story line and it goes on. Mena Masood and Naomi Scott were the best people to play the role because it really fits their personality as well. It’s one of the few Disney movies that revolves around Middle Eastern culture and it was nice to see the diverse cast.

Cinderella: This is the basic “Disney Movie.” Everyone knows about it but there’s a reason why it’s like that. I’m not going to say more about this one. It’s an amazing movie and I stand by that.

Frozen: This movie was released in 2013 and has greatly gained popularity after that. Even though it isn’t one of the “classics,” it’s still great. Disney movies have the common trend of adding in a life lesson into their movies and Frozen does as well. True love. Anna and Elsa’s sisterly love show a lot through the 2 movies. Elsa’s main goal is to protect one of her last family members, Anna. The way they add Hans and Christopher is the perfect way to show that royalty and wealth has nothing to do with someone you love.
