Monster House is one of those movies that never gets old. It’s funny, a little

scary, and super nostalgic. Every time I watch it, I feel like a little kid again. This

movie mixes horror and humor in a way that makes it fun instead of scary.

One of my favorite parts of Monster House is how the house is literally a

monster. The idea of a living house that eats people is kinda weird, but that's

what makes it so cool and interesting. It also makes it different from other

animated films. The animation style is kind of creepy, but it fits the story perfectly.

The characters are also really funny and relatable. DJ, Chowder, and Jenny

act like real kids, not perfect movie characters. Their jokes feel natural, and their

reactions make the scary parts less intense. Chowder especially adds a lot of

humor to the movie. He reminds me of Rowley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, which

is another enjoyable and hilarious character.

Another reason the movie is so good is the nostalgia. It reminds people of

riding bikes, hanging out with friends, and being scared of things that seem bigger

when you’re a kid. Watching it now feels comforting, even though the movie is

about a haunted house.

Overall, Monster House is funny, nostalgic, and cool all at the same time.

It’s the kind of movie you can watch over and over and still enjoy. That’s why it’s

still one of the best animated movies from that time.
