“Summer on Repeat" , a poem by Anushka Bhatt

 “Summer on Repeat"

Anushka Bhatt

Golden air and barefoot streets,
Ice cream drips and skipping beats,
Laughing till the daylight's gone,
Chasing fireflies at dawn.

Salt in the breeze, sand in our hair,
Waves that crash without a care,
Sunburned noses, tangled dreams,
Plans made under sunbeam streams.

Every sunset paints the sky,
With promises we can't define,
Summer hums a lazy song—
Short, but sweet, and never wrong.
