April Showers
Rain is falling soft and slow,
Allowing the seeds to grow
Raindrops fall from the skies so gray
Wind blows heavily causing the grass to sway
Trees are growing, buds appear,
Springtime is so near
Leaves grow on trees giving shade
As raindrops fall a splashing sound is made
Birds are tweeting in the trees,
Carried on the rainy breeze
Though the sky is wet and gray
Spring is just a raindrop away
