Summer Beach Days : a poem
By: Siya Sharma
The golden sun begins to rise,
A canvas painted in the skies
Waves softly crash on the shore,
A peaceful sound we all adore
The sand is warm beneath our toes,
Ending up everywhere, even on our nose
Footprints fade, then come again,
As tides retreat and ascend
Seagulls call in joyful flight,
Dancing in the morning light
Children laugh, their voices loud and clear,
Chasing waves and seagulls, without a fear
The salty air, the sun-kissed skin,
Summer’s magic from within
As day turns into starry night,
The beach is calm, we wait for daylight
