Christmas Eve: a poem
by: Siya Sharma
On Christmas Eve, the night is still,
A peaceful hush, a slight chill
The stars above, a bright glow,
As winds of the season flow
The fire crackles, warm and bright
Casting shadows in the night
The tree decorated with sparkling cheer,
Carolers come singing, loud and clear
The world outside is draped in white,
A winter wonderland tonight
Families gather, hearts entwine,
Stores crowded with big lines
The magic of the night is near,
On Christmas Eve, we hold it so dear The world is wrapped in love and grace As Christmas joy lights up each face
