Christmas Spirits
a poem
by: Siya Sharma
The winter air is crisp and bright
As happy spirits wrap our worlds with light
The stars dance, the snowflakes flow
A time for joy, the ornaments glow
The tree aglow with twinkling light
A glow that warms the silent night
Laughter rings and voices sing
As we decorate our homes to add some bling
The spirit of this season is warm
A gentle peace, a loving swarm
In every hug, in every cheer
A gift of joy, a gift sincere
The world shines brighter, our hearts take flight
On Christmas Eve, everything feels right
With open arms, we share the love
Receiving presents from those beloved
