Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling is a perfect addition to the series because it switches many of what we have seen before in the previous books. The story begins with Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts, where he unexpectedly becomes a participant in the Triwizard Tournament, a dangerous magical competition. This year, the tournament is being held at Hogwarts, and Harry is somehow entered as a fourth competitor, even though he is underage and didn't volunteer. As Harry faces the deadly tasks of the tournament, he must also deal with growing tensions among his friends and the threat of the dark wizard, Voldemort.

The plot thickens with each task, revealing deeper layers of magic and mystery. Harry faces dragons, rescues friends from underwater creatures, and navigates a dangerous maze. Each challenge tests not only his magical abilities but also his courage and character. Alongside these trials, the return of Death Eaters and the rise of Voldemort creates a darker atmosphere than the previous books. Harry's bond with his friends, especially Hermione and Ron, becomes very important as they work together to uncover the truth behind the suspicious activities that have been going on during the tournament.

In the climax, Voldemort returns to full power, leading to a deadly confrontation that greatly impacts the wizarding world. The final task of the tournament brings Harry face-to-face with Voldemort in a graveyard, where he sees the death of a fellow student, Cedric Diggory, and narrowly escapes with his life. This moment sets the stage for the battles to come in the series, marking a significant shift from the relatively light-hearted adventures of the earlier books to a more serious and dark tone. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire balances excitement, mystery, and emotion, making it the perfect continuation of the Harry Potter series.
