My Personal Review of the book The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
The book, "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald is a novel that takes place in 1925 in Long Island. The book follows Nick Carraway, a wealthy man, and his experience with other people of similar wealth where he lives. The book also focuses on someone called Gatsby, a man who has several extraordinary things about him, such as his large parties as well as his several accomplishments in his past.
The book heavily focuses on Nick's love interest Jordan Baker as well as the relationship between Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan, who is already married to one of Nick and Gatsby's friends. Several other things occur as well, such as the circumstances behind a character's death, and the development of each of the characters.
I personally found the book to be boring until the climax of the story. After that, the book began to pick up the pace which actually made it interesting. The characters are also enjoyable to follow however, other than that, there could have been more development to the other aspects of the book. Overall, I would recommend this book to people only if they are willing to read it all the way through.
