Review of the film, Of Mice and Men by Ved Patel

Of Mice and Men Film Review

The film Of Mice and Men, directed by Gary Sinise, was created based upon the book Of Mice and Men. It takes place in a ranch in California and follows the lives of two migrant workers in a time of the Great Depression. George and Lennie are great friends and companions who travel everywhere together. They find a job on a ranch and try hard to achieve their goal of buying a piece of land. However, Lennie’s interactions with the characters in the ranch soon threaten to destroy their dreams and their future lives.

The film Of Mice and Men contains many phenomenal and entertaining scenes making it a great film for others to watch. I would recommend this film for various reasons. Each character played their roles very well, and therefore, these actors make the film very engrossing. Also, I feel that the film did an excellent job of presenting the setting of the ranch in the time of the Great Depression. It allows the watcher to learn and visualiaze key aspects of the Great Depression. Next, the movie has parts that are suspenseful, funny, and sad. The fact that this movie had many different types of emotional scenes within it helped make the film easy and fun to watch. All in all, this film is an excellent recommendation to others because this film helps you visualize the events and contains different scenes filled with different emotions.
