Crash by Lisa McMann Review by Aditi Patel

Crash was a really fascinating novel. Lisa McMann is a really great author, and her other books are also really good. Crash is part of the Vision Series, a whole series of a girl who sees things that will happen in the future. The first book of the series is about the girl, Jules, who sees that a member of her family’s rival will have a car crash. Jules’ family owns a pizzeria, and there is another rival who also owns a pizzeria. Obviously, the families clash a lot. Jules sees scenes of the crash everywhere she goes, and it just won’t stop no matter what. She doesn’t even know how to make the visions leave. The crash involves a yellow truck crashing into a building, with dead bodies everywhere. She then realizes that one of the dead bodies is of the child of her family’s rival. She needs to figure out if these visions are indeed real or not, and how to stop them. This book was really fun to read, and it was really engaging. You really want to read the next books in the series too, and those are also really good to read. Crash really provides a perspective of life that no one would really think about, and it really makes you wonder what would happen if you were the main character.
