Doesn’t anybody wonder? By: Harrison Chiu

Doesn’t anybody wonder?
By: Harrison Chiu

A sense of discontent, in my mouth
Bittering, biting, befouling
A sense of dissatisfaction, in my stomach
Unbalancing, upsetting, unsettling
Doesn’t anybody feel it too?
A sense of restlessness, in my chest
Smothering, swelling, suffocating,
A sensation of pain, between my temples
Pulsing, pushing, pulsating,
Doesn’t anybody feel it too?

The indecision, despite all the thought
The unhappiness, despite all the pursuit
The meaninglessness, despite all the action

Doesn’t anybody wonder?
