Silence
Silence is so rare nowadays. Technology has grown so much over time, that moments of complete science are rare. People are always calling, facetime, or messaging that there is no time for complete silence. Time where we can just spend reflecting on everything that has occurred and to give ourselves time to breathe before moving to the next task or assignment. Moments of silence help our brains rest and allow us to tackle the next task with a better mindset and more focus. Throughout the day, I am at school or completing school work so I barely have the chance to rest my mind. At times, it gets so tiring that I start making silly mistakes when solving math problems or confusing names when reading a text. Allowing myself moments of quiet where I just sit in silence for a bit, or go on a walk around my community allows me to complete my homework faster and with a higher accuracy than before. The importance of silence is not spoken enough about and should be given more attention to. Silence enables us to do our best in every task we take on.
