The Return of Summer

The blazing sun with its yellow rays
The melting ice cream on hot, humid days
People shouting left and right
The nights shine with endless golden light
The laughter of kids bouncing off trees
Countless days spent by the pool with a nice breeze
Everything felt grey and dull before
But now everything is vibrant with a roar
That's how we know summer is once more opening the door
