"Lost and Found in a Library"
By: Anushka Bhatt
In aisles where dust and daydreams meet,
I wander past a thousand feet—
The steps of those who came before,
Each searching for a little more.
A pirate ship, a distant star,
A whispered wish inside a jar,
A heartbreak penned in midnight ink,
A hero standing on the brink.
The world outside may twist and race,
But here, I find my quiet place.
No need to shout, no need to run,
The battles here are softly won.
Between the spines of borrowed tales,
I set my paper-thin, brave sails.
I lose myself to find me too—
In every word, in something new.
So let the clocks and crowds roar loud,
I'll build my castle in a cloud.
In every book, a world, a key—
In this small library, I’m free.
