Three Summer Related Poems:
Ice Cream (Haiku)
Different flavors
Of sweet, mouthwatering cream
That melt in my mouth.
Boat (Limerick)
There once was a small boat
That encountered many waves and stayed afloat.
It went as fast as a horse,
Moving with the wind’s force,
But it stopped once it reached a moat.
Beaches (Free Verse)
Building sandcastles
Everybody playing beach volleyball
Adults holding their children’s hands in the water
Conches buried deep in the sand
Hot sand burning your feet
Excited children waiting to swim in the water
Surfing with your friends on big waves
