Book review of Cut me Free by J.R. Johansson Review by Rishan Tilve

Book: Cut me Free by J.R. Johansson

This book is about a young teenage girl who moves and lives in Philadelphia all alone. She escaped her parents, who often abused her. Charlotte, the girl, also had a brother. Unfortunately, he couldn’t escape and died from the abuse he faced. Wishing to start a new life, Charlotte hires a man to change her name. Soon, Charlotte starts receiving strange and threatening notes. Thinking her parents are coming after her (because the notes contain information she never told anyone in Philadelphia), Charlotte becomes anxious and scared. Using help from the guy she hired, Cam, they try to figure out who exactly is sending these letters. They are eventually led to an abandoned warehouse where they get in serious danger but find immense amounts of clues.

I would recommend this book because it has a very interesting and complex  plot. The detailed descriptions, make-a-movie technique, and likable characters bring the book the life and fully engage the reader. People who enjoy reading mystery and action books would especially enjoy it.This book would also be great if it was turned into a movie. There is only one central problem, and has the right amount of details and problems for its development.
