This Story Is a Lie
Book Review By: Elijah Cordero
This Story Is a Lie, by Tom Pollock is a story that resembles the struggles of panic and fear throughout a gruesome conflict. The protagonist, Peter Blankman suffers from constant panic attacks. One night, a great tragedy occurs, and Peter must use his extraordinary mathematical skills to guide him to success while his internal nemesis threatens to submerge him into a pool of terror.
In this book, there are numerous pages of action that slowly begin to unfold the mystery. Additionally, there are also many complex vocabulary words that are present. The past is also shown in separate chapters which symbolizes change and differences.
This is an outstanding book and I would certainly have read it again. I recommended this book to other readers due to it’s high rate of action, along with adventure.
