The Magic of a Book

By: Aditi Anumolu

A book sits quietly on the shelf

Filled with secrets that it keeps to itself

Its pages whisper softly and low

Telling stories and tales that only it knows

Each word is a key to a new world

Filled with wonders that twirl and swirl

Any human would be curious

Drawing thoughts in that are mysterious

Each page turned fills a gap in time

Its stories ring like a gentle chime

Adventures start to bloom within each line

The pages in the books start to shine
