 A Review of The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller

This book is one of my favorite fantasy books. I don’t read much fantasy, but this book had me captivated. Levenseller created a fictitious world with a strong female lead as the main character. The plot, the twists and turns, and the story itself are enthralling and make it so that you can’t put it down. The book is about a woman, Alessandra, who plans to make the Shadow King fall in love with her and marry her so she can kill him and take his throne. The Shadow King, a man that lives in solitary for most of his life, is unknown to Alessandra. She knows very little about his power and personality, but she is determined and convinced that she will be the one to see her plan through. I highly recommend reading this book as it got me hooked on reading again.
