A Poem by Naman Sodhani

The light comes through the window panes

As I wake up to join zoom again
But suddenly I remember how
I have to get ready for school right now

It feels surreal after a year and half
How I will go back to school, I laugh
at how I will roam around once more
once I walk through the school door

I wake up and fold my sheet
and get ready, brush my teeth
I awkwardly heave once more my school supplies
and make my new daily goodbyes

Once I climb on the bus, on my way to school
realized that it was a rule
that although it may always be strange
life was always bound to change
