Golden Hour By: Mridula Murugan

 Golden Hour

By: Mridula Murugan

Light turns soft

like it’s slowing down,

touching everything

with gold.

Windows glow,

catching the light,

even shadows

feel warm.

For a moment,

nothing changes—

but the day lingers

just a little longer.

The sky holds color,

a light dusky blue,

quiet shades

slipping away.

Everyone watches

this peaceful moment,

unsure how much

longer.

And in that pause,

everything is

just enough.
