Artificial Intelligence
There is continuous worry about how artificial intelligence will impact our society. Specifically, that AI is taking over the world and will decrease the amount of jobs that humans could have, but what individuals are not seeing is the amount of jobs that will be created with introduction into AI. In the U.K, it is said that while 7 million jobs will be taken over by AI, 7.2 million jobs will be created (Marr). This goes to show that while AI is revolutionizing our world, it is not removing humans and their impact from it. AI is specifically taking over repetitive and difficult jobs such as data collection and management. This leaves humans to do other tasks that they are better suited for. Specifically, jobs that are more freestyle and require a lot of creativity or ability to understand individuals emotions, which is something AI is not better suited for than humans. The purpose of AI is to make our lives easier and to assist humans. The main job of AI is not to remove humans from the world and revolutionize everything. One vital part of AI is ensuring that they understand and comprehend the goal of humans and only positively impact society. This involves the job market and diminishing this concept that AI is going to remove people from jobs and leave them without any job or any form of money.
