Review of Turtles all the way down by John Green; review by Naval Shah

Review of Turtles all the way down

Turtles all the way down is another emotional rollercoaster by John Green. It explores the depths of thoughts and human psychology while building an overarching plotline in the background.  It poses many philosophical questions and builds suspense in a masterful manner, making the book near unputdownable. The book is set in modern Indianapolis, America and it tells the story through the eyes of anxiety and OCD sufferer, Aza Holmes.

It breaks norms and explores a unique end instead of the cliche “and then they lived happily ever after”, as It explores Aza’s ‘thought spiral’ and depicts how one actually rationalizes harmful actions. It expertly depicts the inner battles Aza faces and how it affects everyone around her. In my opinion, it is a great read for anyone who even slightly appreciates psychology. 9/10
