Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur is a collection of poetry that revolves around four topics, the hurting, the loving, the breaking, and the healing. This book was especially moving because each page had poems with different meanings. This book is highly relatable and targeted towards females but is for people of all genders to read and understand. Kaur has a unique way with words that creates beautiful lyrics. This book is important because it describes the feeling of no confidence and insecurities. As it progresses, the hurt transitions into self-love. It turns to poetry about finding self-worth and confidence. In addition to Milk and Honey, Rupi Kaur has many other books dealing with similar topics. She is a talented author that writes touching poetry that encourages others to read.
